Mark your calendars and set your intentions: The Toronto Yoga Conference and Show is back!
Yes, starting from Thursday, March 28 through Sunday, March 31, 2019, we return for another year of world-class yoga instruction and continued education at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The Toronto Yoga Conference is Canada’s largest event dedicated to continuing yoga education. Meet yoga teachers from around the world, and train with world-class instructors from the yoga community. There are classes in almost every style of yoga and for every level from beginners to 1000+ hour teachers.
The Toronto Yoga Show (Friday, March 29, 2019, to March 31, 2019), brings together Canada’s largest group of yoga and wellness vendors, as well as exhibitions, food, and free demonstrations from our faculty in the yoga garden.
The Yoga Conference: Who’s Coming?
We are incredibly excited to see some new faces and bring back some of our favourite teachers from the past. Each teacher brings their own specialty and will offer full-day workshops on Thursday and Friday as well as shorter two-hour classes on Saturday and Sunday.
Back by popular demand, Seane Corn returns with a full weekend of new offerings. Seane Corn is an internationally celebrated yoga teacher known for her impassioned activism, unique self-expression, and inspirational style of teaching. Seane is also co-founder of the Seva Challenge Humanitarian Tours, which have raised roughly $4 million since 2007, getting the yoga community involved in fundraising and awareness-raising efforts across the globe.
Seane’s 6-hour “Yoga of Awakening” workshop at this year’s conference will explore how you can use yoga, deep inquiry, and self-acceptance to shift our collective consciousness and heal this planet into peace.
Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman
Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman are always a welcome and exciting presence to have at the Yoga Show and Conference.
Join them for an intensive “One-Day Yoga Retreat,” on Friday, March 29, where they promise to bring back the sunshine with a full spectrum of yoga, from asana to restorative and from pranayama to meditation. Plus they’ll be offering a series of two-hour classes across the weekend.
The always-wonderful and high-flying ACROBUDDHAS are back for more acro classes. Based in Toronto, ACROBUDDHAS has become an international brand with tens of thousands of followers, a group that inspires play and connection in their students. Join them Friday, March 29 for a full-day Acro workshop or a shorter two-hour lesson, all of which are open to yogis with all levels of flying and acro experience.
New to the conference this year is Meghan Currie. The teachings of Meghan are raw, powerful, and sharply intuitive as their source is channeled from the teachings of Nature. Being deeply rooted in her works with expanding Love, her teachings reflect this work and encourage students to process the gifted experiences so as to draw from them the highest nectar of the teachings.
Join her for her full-day workshop “The Majesty of Being: The Journey into Inner Sanctuaries,” where you will come home to the sense of self, and where you feel complete and more than enough. Learn techniques to orchestrate consciousness deep through the layers of your self.
Another new face this year is Faith Hunter. International yoga and meditation instructor, wellness philanthropist, movement motivator, healing guide, music head, and Spiritually Fly theorist. Her passionate teaching style is heavily influenced by Kundalini Yoga, Vinyasa, and various forms of meditation. A next-generation teacher, Faith blends Classic yogic principles and real-world occurrences into an integrated experience that is grounded, radical, and unforgettably Spiritually Fly™
