When it comes to safety, cueing, and adjustments in your classes, nothing will help a yogi more than knowledge of anatomy. Yoga teachers work with a lot of bodies—all with different sizes, shapes, and abilities—but the science tying them together is anatomy. And while a deep understanding of anatomy will make you a better teacher, few 200-hour programs have enough time cover the science a yoga teacher should know.

We’re pleased some of yoga’s leading anatomy experts will be at the Toronto Yoga Show offering a variety of workshops for the science-minded yoga teacher.
